Beard and Blaze Original Hot Sauce was born in 2016 from a combination of backyard ingenuity and culinary grit.
After underestimating his ability as a home gardener, Chef found himself with more peppers than any one person could consume before spoiling. The challenge wasn't just to use them up—it was to elevate them.
Combining the resourcefullness of a U.S. Navy submarine Chef with classic Le Cordon Bleu French training, the concept for a sophisticated, flavorfully fermented hot sauce took shape.
What followed was a decade long pursuit to perfect the lacto-fermentation process, obsessing over every flavor profile, and dialing in the formulation.
The result is a complex hot sauce that seamlessly blends unapologetic heat with maximum flavor & versatility.
